Klasha Named Among Bloomberg’s Top 25 African Startups to Watch
Bloomberg has released its inaugural Top 25 Startups to Watch list, and we are proud to share that Klasha has been recognised among the continent’s most promising companies.
According to Bloomberg, more than 2,000 applications were submitted, spanning from Senegal to Ethiopia and from Morocco to South Africa. The list highlights innovative ventures that have continued to thrive despite global economic drawbacks. With interest rates in developed nations at their peak and venture capital funding in Africa dropping by 22%, the resilience and creativity of these startups stand out all the more.
At Klasha, our mission has always been to simplify cross-border commerce between Africa and China, and the rest of the world by providing innovative payment solutions that make global trade seamless. Being recognised by Bloomberg is not just a validation of our vision but also a testament to the trust and support of our customers, partners, and team, who make our work possible every day.
This recognition further strengthens our commitment to building the financial infrastructure that enables African consumers and businesses to transact conveniently on a global scale. We are excited about what lies ahead and remain focused on powering Africa’s participation in international trade.
Other start-ups to make Bloomberg’s 25 African startups to watch list are Anda, Freezelink, Flux, Koolboks, Dodai, and more.
